Now you can spray thick car wash foam in any direction without turning the whole cannon on its side and losing foam pressure from displacing the foam liquid solution from the syphon straw. By being atop the inlet valve, this prevents from future corrosion, rust, and oxidation from forming inside and eventually rendering your foam cannon inoperable. A single twist of the spray head turns the foam stream from vertical to horizontal for fast coverage on vehicles of any shape or size, up to 90 degrees of rotation.
The holes are larger to allow more air to be mixed within the copper head to allow an epic assimilation to release a profound amount of thick suds onto your exterior paintwork. It uses a standard universal thread that easily accepts any universal pressure washer attachment fitting. Consult your pressure washer manufacturer for any replacement parts or attachment fitting changes. Mix and blend your own thickness of spray able foam with a single twist of the soap solution injection knob at the top of the unit.
TORQ has ultimately reduced the stress levels of all detailers by releasing the first foam cannon ever that doesn't tip over. You've read that correctly; it's the first foam cannon EVER to not tip over when standing alone. It's become the self-standing phenomenon that allows you to gently place or store your foam cannon safely without the potential of falling and damaging itself. This sets a detailer's mind at ease to know they no longer have damaged filters to worry about.
Better yet, the TORQ Big Mouth Foam Cannon doesn't have any filters for you to break as it's been tested and proven that it performs at its peak without the use of filters. Verified Purchase. I bought this thinking because everyone was comparing the cheaper foam cannons to the chemical guys brand and thought I'd go ahead and spend the extra money and get the best. Boy was I wrong. All I got was soapy water sprayed on my truck. I could have filled a bucket with soapy water and dumped it on my truck and gotten more foam than this thing makes. I tried everything per instructions and per chemical guys video, more soap, less soap, warm water, hot water, cold water, less pressure, more pressure.
Nothing worked. FYI, I'm using a commercial grade gas powered pressure washer and also using the chemical guys honey dew sno-foam for the soap. I spoke to chemical guys directly to see what I was doing wrong and the only thing they could tell me was to make a video of me using the foam cannon and send it to them, so I did and still no answer of why it wasn't producing foam. The only definitive thing they could tell me was I should return the item while I still able to receive a refund.
I'd advise anyone looking for a foam cannon to look elsewhere. As one of the reviews below says this thing has "poor thread execution". As soon as you loosen the lid even a tiny bit the top basically falls off. This could easily happen just putting the thing on the ground. The lid and threads are just a very poor design. The threaded lip of the container and the threaded skirt of the lid should both be deeper to accommodate a couple more threads so the lid would spin on a full revolution or more.
I am going to make something to secure the lid while it is installed. I'll try to post a picture of my solution later if Amazon will let me. Edit: To mitigate the issue with the poor lid threads I made a 3D printed plug to lock the lid in place while in use. See the photo to get the gist of it. I can't post a link here but if you search Thingiverse with obvious tags you should be able to find it easily enough.
